Real zari tarnishes slowly to a warmer gold; it does not flake. A thread that flakes is tested polyester.
Dry clean only. Store rolled in cotton mulmul rather than folded on a crease.

A three-piece unstitched set in mulberry silk — 2.5 m kurta length, 2.5 m bottom, and a 2.25 m dupatta carrying the zari. Heavy enough that the kurta holds its shape once cut.
