In double ikat both warp and weft are tied and dyed before a single thread is woven, so the motif has to be aligned on two axes at the loom. Look at a motif edge: it should be crisp in both directions, not feathered on one.
Dry clean only. Store rolled in cotton mulmul, away from light — this is the one in the range most worth treating as an heirloom.
Double ikat in mustard, where warp and weft are both resist-dyed before weaving so the motif has no blurred edge on either axis.
